What is a good life? Country singers twang about it, poets
wax eloquent describing it, and everyone is looking for it. But
what is good? It’s tough to define because we hold different
definitions. What is good to one man is frightening to another.
What seems good to one woman may seem reckless to another.
Even the Bible uses different words to talk about what is
good. There are two general words, one which refers to things
being useful while the other refers to things that are beautiful.
There is also a fascinating word in 2 Peter 1:5 that is translated
“goodness” and has the idea of morally heroic deeds. Figuring
out what is good, therefore, is a pursuit of the heart that
combines what is true with the creative variety God has
expressed in us as individuals. So, what is good for you?

• Dark chocolate wrapped around ice cream?
• A warm, steamy bath or shower after a killer workout?

• A gourmet meal cooked to perfection?
• An unexpected praise or an unanticipated compliment

Perhaps good is the way you feel after a bike ride, a dance
class, a run, or a paddle on a glassy lake. Maybe good is
classical music soothing away your stress or melodic jazz that
touches your soul or rock or metal that throbs in your
eardrums.
Your life is unique, so it will have unique commitments and
pursuits that you must keep in balance. But there are a few
areas of life that we must all address. These are the spokes of
the wheel that provide the initial shape of your life. You are free
to add spokes, but your life will work best if you are good at
these vital areas. When life is out of balance, temptation
intensifies as you consider shortcuts to getting your needs
met. You can keep these spokes in balance by setting goals, searching out your aptitude, and designing a plan

The following are areas every single is to work on to have a well-rounded goodness in life;
1. Financial goodness.
2. Career or vocational goodness.
3. Physical goodness.
4. Emotional goodness.
5. Intellectual goodness.
6. Spiritual goodness.

Work on this areas consistently and dramatically develop your life.
