Well, there are three kinds of love every couple needs to maintain a healthy union, of course most of the people know that the word "love" in the English language is more explanatory and expressive in other languages, due to the fact that English is a young language and lacks detailed and concrete ways for expression, it's not as detailed as Hebrew, Greek, etc. For example; the word you use to say I love my wife, you also use to say I love banana meanwhile they aren't the same kind of love. So we are gonna look at three important kinds of love that every couple needs and they are; 
Eros kind of love; it's the first kind of love that's introduced when a man meets a lady, it refers to romantic, sensual, attractive, and passionate kind of love. It's the kind of love that makes a man lust after a woman. Eros kind of love is what motivates the man to be romantic because he wants to please the woman, I call this love the kind of love a woman needs,  this kind of loves mostly highest at the beginning of marriages, And also needs to continue years after years into the marriage, in other to sustain a healthy one, Because the woman will always need attention, appreciation, affection and tender care from the man.
phileo kind of love;  it talks about the friendship or brotherly kind of love, it's the kind of love that exists among best friends, that's why there's need for a couple to grow from being lovers to also being best of friends, phileo kind of love talks refers to when individuals share same ideologies, beliefs, values, and dispositions, I call this the kind of love every man needs, every woman must learn to give this love to her husband because men love people who got their back, during trying and uneasy times.

 agape kind of love; this kind of love is the highest form of love every couple is meant to have for each other, in fact, agape kind of what defines what true love, and as they say " true love never fails" agape installs a kind of love which is sacrificial, suffers inconvenience, discomfort for the other without complaining, it's the kind of love that exists when you that a man gave his life in other for his wife or partner to live, I call this the bedrock of longer-lasting marriage, with agape love the bond between couples is impossible to be broken until death because it's a love that endures and conquers all.
